Czechin’ Out Prague

Over the weekend, I went to Prague with one of my close friends for a short girls trip. I have been to Romania and Poland before so I had some idea of what to expect however I assumed that the city would be quite similar to Warsaw and Bucharest – which it was not.

Perhaps it was due to the copious amounts of German tourists who had hopped across the border for a short weeekend or perhaps it was due to the large number of bachelor and bachelorette parties, either way the city was bustling with people, vibrant with culture and in general one of the most beautiful cities that I have visited in the last year or so.

We did the usual touristy things – Visited Prague Castle, the Dancing House, Charles Bridge, the John Lennon Wall and the Old Town.

However, the best part of the trip was actually the parks. We went to a lovely little beer garden in Letna Park which had a great view of the city as well as cheap food and Prague beer.

Charles Bridge in the distance. It was unbelievably hot over the weekend – so we were super lucky.

We had breakfast here twice because the food was so good. This is a snap of our french toast drizzled with maple syrup, powder sugar and a dash of raspberries.
