Torino and Fossano

Over the weekend, I went to visit my friend in her beautiful home in Fossano in the North of Italy. I had been to Torino, the capital of the region before however I had not explored the surrounding regions so this was a wonderful chance to get a taste of the region Piemonte.

Torino (Turin) is the birthplace of the slow food movement so the meat and the food Β here was, in general, at a very high standard. Plus because it was boiling hot (23-27 degrees), I seized the opportunity to try almost every gelateria that I laid my eyes on. Le Bric and Grom were my favourites.

Here are a few snaps from my trip (using my iphoneΒ 6 only)
