For a really long time, I kept on seeing this cafe on all the top brunch lists in London. However, every time I tried to get a reservation for weekend brunch here, it always was fully booked.
I wanted to see what the hype was all about so when I was trying to decide where to go for brunch last weekend, I tried to book a reservation again. Luckily, I was successful and on Sunday, my friend and I met up for brunch.
I went for a superfood salad which was a mixed leaf salad topped with broccoli, squash and my favorite part, king prawns grilled in a mix of paprika and other spices.
It was very good but I have to say that the portion was pretty underwhelming which was a little disappointing considering the restaurant’s popularity. I also ordered a yellow juice which was a mix of pineapple and mint. It was super fresh but really again I was not so impressed.
My friend ordered the Avocado Benedict with extra bacon which she loved but yet again the portion was tiny.
Overall my opinion was the cafe had a great vibe with its cool blue retro interior. However, if you want a more hearty brunch, I think it’s definitely not the place for you.
